Anonymous: could you rec some books with LGBTQIA+ characters who have children/babies? (the kids don't need to be the focus of the story, but also not just mentioned in a side sentence) thank you <3

Ooh, good question. Fast Connection by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell and Out on a Limb by A.J. Truman are the m/m Romances that immediately come to mind. I don’t remember how present the kids are in the former, but IIRC the one MC’s son is very present in the latter.

Alas, those are the only ones I can recall right now; anyone else got recs??

Fierce Family edited by Bart R. Leib is a collection about LGBTQIA+ families! I know the A Harvest of Ripe Figs by Shira Glassman includes a F/F couple with a kid. 

I would definitely check out this list: Pregnant Lesbians and Lesbian Mothers. It’s mostly Romance.

There’s also a Goodreads list for kids’ books that have lesbian moms, but I assume that’s not what you’re looking for.
