The Lesbrary Tumblr

The Basics

I run the Lesbrary, and I'm also on booktube and goodreads.

Check out the Lesbrary Goodreads Project for lists of les/bi/etc books by topic and genre

See the Master List of Lesbian & Bi Women Books Recommendations for my favourites!

Support Bi & Lesbian Lit and the Lesbrary on Patreon for monthly book giveaways, or buy us a coffee on ko-fi if you're feeling generous!

Mostly lesbian lit, always bi-, ace-, aro- and trans-inclusive.

Anonymous: Are there any books where the main protagonist is either bi or lesbian and is dealing with mental illness?

lgbtqreads:

Of course! Top Ten by Katie Cotugno has a bi protag with anxiety, 10 Things I Can See From Here by Carrie Mac has a lesbian protag with anxiety, Not Otherwise Specified by Hannah Moskowitz has a bi protag with Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified, Treasure by Rebekah Weatherspoon has a lesbian protag with depression who’s attempted suicide in the past, and so does Scars by Cheryl Rainfield (though that protag also self-harms - major tw because it’s depicted on the cover, and also the book is very heavy on abuse), and the central couple in Black Iris by (the author fka) Leah Raeder) have bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder between them, and both are queer/bi.
