Trans WLW Books

Here are some lighter trans wlw books:

And then these ones are a little darker, typically dealing with a lot of transmisogyny:

* I have read and can recommend these. The others I am basing off recommendations, so there might be trigger warnings I’m not aware of.

Anonymous: Hi do u have any dystopian recs? Preferably not YA or too sci-fi? Like social issue not aliens or smth? Thanks!

That’s a tough one, since more sapphic dystopian I’ve seen has been YA, and most of the ones I’ve read and liked have been sci fi YA! Here are some titles that seem to fit, but that I haven’t read myself yet:

A Study In Honor by Claire O’Dell is set in post-Trump America, where a Latina, far-left president was elected after Trump. The far-right backlash was so extreme that it sparked a civil war. This has some sci fi, even steampunk elements, but it is rooted in social issues. (This one I have read and loved! It’s also a Sherlock Holmes retelling with both Holmes and Watson as queer black women!)

Those are the queer women dystopias I could find that are not YA and focus on social issues, but for more general sapphic dystopia recommendations, check out:

astarreborn: Hullo, everytime I've asked for a recommendation from you I've been very satisfied so I'm back again! This time I'm looking for f/f regency romances please! I've already read daughter of mystery and its sequels.

rpanessa231-blog: Hello 👋 How are you? I’m terribly sorry to bother you, but do you know any wlw books where a character falls for their mentor/boss? Thanks in advance!
